From Dallas, Texas, Jordan Green (b. 2000) is a composer, producer, and multi instrumentalist. He has written music for multiple indie video game projects and other media such short films. He was the recipient of the prestigious Presser Scholar award and the first place winner of the choral selection for the 2023 New Music Festival Composition Contest held at UTSA.
Growing up in a small town right outside of the metroplex, he first found his love for music while listening to the choir at his church and surrounding himself with film music such as The Lion King and The Legend of Zorro. After a year of playing piano in the eighth grade, he began composing using a tiny keyboard and some free software. After high school, Jordan went on to study music composition and graduate summa cum laude at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
His music is filled with passion, as he has propensity for the dramatic. He is also an explorer and loves to experiment with combinations of genres and styles. Jordan enjoys collaborating and working out ideas with others as he finds that synergy brings a whole new life to the music.
Jordan is now a freelance composer residing in the San Antonio area. His upcoming release is an EP entitled Victorious (2024), which chronicles a story of the High King and his soldiers returning from their victory in battle and remembering those who had fallen.
