Created by the San Antonio duo Pancakes For Breakfast, A Nordic Nöel began with a challenge: could two composers write four full-length orchestral pieces in only 24 hours? Inspired by Celtic and Scandinavian landscapes, the project became a textured, cinematic EP with a story worth watching.
Film Music

A choral composition performed by the UTSA Chamber Singers at the 2023 New Music Festival. This piece uses lyrics from Virgil’s Aeneid and is a great musical example of Jordan’s dramatic musical voice.
A vocal work for TTBB whose text comes from St. Thomas Aquinas’ hymn entitled Sacris Solemniis. This selection occurs at the end of his hymn, and instead of a celebratory nature, Jordan has chosen to interpret it in a more pleading sense.
