De Profundis Ad Astra
"From the Deep to the stars." These words are an adaptation of the original phrase "sic itur ad astra" from Virgil's the Aeneid. Jordan Green creates a beautiful interweaving of texts from that work that describe the story of one gathering courage to face whatever obstacles lie in their path in life. This is a performance by the UTSA Chamber Singers for the 2023 New Music Festival in San Antonio.
JOY IN THE MORNING | Hebrew Choral Music
